User Agreement for iPay,
The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court's Website for Online Payments
of Outstanding Court Assessments in the 12th Judicial Circuit, Illinois

Should the User inadvertently, wrongly or mistakenly obtain information or documents containing legally protected personal, privileged, restricted or court sealed documents or information through access granted to the iPay Website, the User shall immediately notify the Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, shall relinquish any documents or information obtained and shall not redistribute or use the document or information in any way.

The User shall not reproduce, copy, redistribute, or electronically post to the web, cloud or other electronic forum any information or document obtained through the iPay Website and shall retain such documents and information for their sole use.

The use of high-volume, automated, electronic processes, to extract Court information from the iPay Website is expressly prohibited. You agree that you may use Court information only for lawful purposes and that under no circumstances will you use Court information for commercial purposes or to allow, enable, or otherwise support the transmission of mass unsolicited, commercial advertising or solicitations via direct mail, e-mail, telephone, or facsimile.

If any misuse of the iPay Website or the documents or information provided therein is discovered, the Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court shall refer such conduct to the appropriate authorities for investigation and access to the iPay Website shall be terminated immediately.

The User understands that their use of the iPay Website does not ensure they receive a specific court sentence or favorable disposition of a court case. Although the data found on the iPay Website has been produced and processed from sources believed to be reliable, no warranty, expressed or implied, is made regarding accuracy, adequacy, completeness, legality, reliability or usefulness of any information. This disclaimer applies to both isolated and aggregate uses of the information. The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court provides this information on an "as is" basis. All warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from contamination by computer viruses or hackers and non-infringement of proprietary rights are disclaimed.

The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court reserves all rights and remedies it now has or may have in the future, including, but not limited to, the right to terminate your access to the iPay Website in their sole discretion, for any violations by you of these terms of use, including without limitation, for excessive querying of the iPay Website or for failure to otherwise abide by these terms of use. The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
